Hi, I’m Daan Derksen — a gaffer based in the Netherlands. Lighting has always fascinated me. And over time I found my place in shaping light to support the story.

My style changes depending on the project and what’s needed. I try to work as quickly and efficiently as possible, keeping things flowing on set without losing sight of the creative goals.
